Why blackberry is different ?

Have you tried other smart phones like I-phone, an Android Based phone, or E- Series of Nokia and Blackberry. Have you noticed the difference between all these Handset, if not check it here.


Nowadays Social Networking Stuff is supported by all amost all the smart phones. Like you can find twitter, bolgger, facebook, orkut. A 3 to 5 Megapixel camera comes along with the smart phones you buy. Still have you ever imagined what makes blackberry different from the other ?

The answer is the Emails that you recieve. Just like an SMS sent from any Handset is recieved within seconds, Sameway you recieve emails in blackberry as soon as they are sent. I also dont mean that the emails ae not recieved in other smart handset, Yes you recieve the emails but it takes a slighter longer time.

Blackberry VS I-Phone Apps

This blog is meant Specially for the Handheld developers and People who are nuts for Smart-phones.

I am Business Development Manager. I have been into Handheld Industry for more than 3 years. I have resolved queries and have also come across with various weird type of requirements from the end clients. I have satisfied many clients globally and for very few I was unable to resolve the issues. This was simply because, either the handset do not support the requirements of clients or may be the time limit given to me was not fair.

The pupose of my blog is purely to describe about the best handheld phones both for user and developer.

Lets start from Apple I Phone, Too many support, books and references are available for developers for their respective work. Needles to say about design and platform being created by Apple is simple awesome. Designs can be created and implemented no programming for designing needed. That’s the one reason apple’s I phone applications looks far superior than Blackberry and hence the people are more attracted. But clients are clients who will make them understand about the differences , if they need an applications for both handset then they need everything to be some. Irrespective of thinking the differences between the two handset. Today Apple’s I-store are generating huge amount of revenue and that’s why they forgot the parameters that needs to be checked while putting in I-store. A friend of mine developed an application , this was his first application and I was really very much amused when he had it on I-store approved by Apple’s professionals.

I have already described that I-phone design’s and implementation is good and thats the reason the applications are successfull. I think Blackberry people should take a lesson from this to generate more revenue. They should develop a platform where designing and programming can be both done seperately and can be implemented. Each time to check what the developer has done we need to start with the simulater from beginning. Ofcourse there are various other things that Blackberry provides which no other devices probably deal with. As it simply consumes lots of time for developers. Taking a seroius and very usefull and important application to the next level is Blackberry. For eg: Blackberry or lets say reasearch in motion with SAP as joining forces have implemented the complete CRM. This is something that hardly any devices allow. But till my knowledge , I dont think if any.

As far as I am concerened as a user, i will go with blackberry if i count on features. As a good looking applications I will consider I-Phone and yes ofcourse there are features too but cant be compared with the eg: shown as above for CRM. As a developer I will like to be an I-phone developer , beacause there are more facility, more refrences and more vacancy.
